Laura is currently working on a public art commission for Scoil Diarmada in Casteldermot Co. Kildare. The artist has been awarded a residential studio from Laois County Council in the Arthouse Studios Stradbally Co. Laois and will therefore be living in close proximity to the community for a six - twelve month period carrying out research which will inform an animation piece. The commission is a collaboration with Dance Artist Cathy O Kennedy. The artist has chosen the commission to investigate ways to introduce movement into her drawing work.
